Release fears and feverish worry in ritual, or in candle magic, raise your spirit and emotional stability. Feverfew is commonly used in mojo bags and charms to repel danger and hexes, and sometimes in love spells. A protective herb, it is said to help keep clumsy or accident-prone people from harm. The dried leaves may be added to banishing incense. Feverfew is aptly named for one of its many uses, treating fever, but has historically been used to treat a variety of ailments including inflammation, menstrual cramps, toothaches, arthritis, vertigo, spasms, labor pains, insect bites, and the plague.

Feverfew, also known as featherfew, is a low-growing, spreading herb in the sunflower family that produces citrus scented leaves.

The common name for this plant is taken from the Latin febrifugia, which translates to febrifuge and means fever-reducing.
