This is a Kali Gandaki WinterGreen Felted Herbal Soap handmade in Nepal. This is a soap based on wintergreen essential oil extract and has stimulating properties on the skin.

This soap is made of sustainable felt and has a felt jacket. And since the felt is made from wool, it is extremely durable and also known to clean itself and shrinks on getting wet but remains hygienically clean thanks to the felt layer that shrinks with the soap. It not only cleans yourself but the rough structure of the wool exfoliates your skin as well.

The wintergreen scent is subtle and enjoyable. I find felted soaps are very gentle yet they exfoliate efficiently. The lather is very smooth while the felt cover keeps the soap firmly in hand. Wool is naturally antiseptic, so it is safe to use this felted soap all over, and it dries quickly in the soap dish, ready for next use. It lasts a long time, too.
